Chris focuses on corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and commercial real estate. He advises clients on the formation, expansion, contraction, and reorganization of business entities. Chris represents small and medium-sized private businesses in mergers and acquisitions.

Chris handles all aspects of commercial real estate for developers, investors, lenders, landlords, and tenants. This includes the acquisition, development, financing, sale, and leasing of all property classes, including shopping centers, office buildings, mixed use projects, industrial and waterfront property, and government-owned property.

Chris has extensive experience in drafting and negotiating a wide variety of contracts and commercial documents, including those used in corporate, commercial real estate, and M&A transactions.

Chris is recognized as a practical, business-minded lawyer who protects his clients’ interests without “over lawyering” transactions. He focuses on getting the deal done efficiently with the best possible result for his client.

Chris and his family love to travel. On a recent tour of Ireland, they visited the village where Chris's wife's parents grew up. They also climbed Skellig Michael, the tiny island off the Irish coast made famous as the cave where an old Luke Skywalker was discovered by the young Jedi, Rey, in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

  • Represented a manufacturing company in negotiation and documentation of $130 million asset-based working capital credit facility.
  • Represented a commodities company in refinancing of $125 million syndicated line of credit.
  • Represented a real estate investment firm in acquisition of portfolio of 22 self-storage properties in six states.
  • Represented a lender for many years in real estate and asset-based lending loans totaling over $250 million.
