Autumn's practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, complex contract drafting and negotiation and venture and see capital financing. She has deep experience counseling clients through their lifecycle, from formation to exit.
Before joining Woods Rogers, Autumn served as in-house counsel to a global consumer products manufacturing company headquartered in the United States with offices in Australia, Canada, France, and South Africa. In this role, Autumn managed the legal functions for seven diverse business lines and was the key contact for all outside counsel.
Autumn is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications/Public Relations and a minor in journalism. While earning her law degree, she worked on the Journal of the National Association of Administrative Law Judges and was a founding member of the Legal Waves.
Autumn grew up in Orange City, Iowa (home of the Tulip Festival), lived in southern California for 10 years, and moved to Roanoke, VA to be near her family in 2014. She misses the beach but not the crowds and loves living in the mountains.
Autumn sings in her church choir and enjoys fishing and camping with her daughter, Jane. Autumn and her wife, Autumn (no, that wasn't a typo), are massive fans of the Virginia Tech Women's Basketball program. In their house you're either singing Let It Go at the top of your lungs or debating the merits of each team in the ACC.
