Deborah M. Casey
Debbie has focused her practice for more than three decades on representing Virginia community associations, providing exceptional legal services tailored to their needs.
Get To Know Debbie
Debbie understands the unique and multi-faceted nature of community associations, and the challenges and opportunities presented daily and in more unusual and complex circumstances, and delivers superior results. She is responsive, accessible and proactive, and leads the community association law team with integrity, professionalism and efficiency.
Debbie was the first and still is one of only a few lawyers in Southeastern Virginia admitted as a Fellow to CAI National’s prestigious College of Community Association Lawyers (CCAL®). Debbie was recently appointed to the Virginia Common Interest Community Board.
Debbie also has broad experience representing creditors and commercial property owners in leasing, contracts, bankruptcy, collections and dispute resolution. Her litigation experience yielded an understanding of contracts that enables her to advance and protect the interests of business and property owners. This experience sharpened her skills to draft documents and resolve disputes that recognize business objectives and minimize risk.
Debbie grew up in Connecticut and has spent most of her summers in Virginia Beach with family. So, it is no surprise that is where you will find her on the weekend. When it is not beach weather, the former soccer mom is on the move hiking, working out, playing mah jongg, or cooking a family dinner.
