Josh Long Named a “Go To Lawyer” for Intellectual Property
We are pleased to announce the selection of Josh Long, Principal and Chair of the Intellectual Property practice group, as one of Virginia Lawyers Weekly “Go To Lawyers" for Intellectual Property Law. The "Go To Lawyers" program recognizes leading attorneys in a particular practice area. Attorneys are nominated by their peers based on their experience, expertise, and record of success. Attorneys are asked to nominate "a lawyer you might call yourself if you needed help in his or her field."
In support of Josh's nomination, a client wrote, "Josh has a way of bringing assurance to his clients through his objective and relentless pursuit of understanding the case and his devotion to hard work." Woods Rogers Vandeventer Black President Dan Summerlin added, "Josh has the unique combination of intellectual curiosity, intelligence and fierce competitiveness to make him perfectly suited for the world of IP Litigation."
Josh focuses his practice on Intellectual Property, Litigation, and Labor & Employment. He has served as Chair of the IP group for 12 years. Josh’s experience covers a range of IP matters, with a focus on litigation. His work also includes prosecution and defense of trademarks, copyright, and patent infringement; trade secret misappropriation; and non-competition agreements.
