Six Woods Rogers Attorneys and Two Practice Groups Ranked by Chambers USA

Recognition

Woods Rogers was recognized by Chambers and Partners as a leader in Labor & Employment Law (Band 2) and General Commercial Litigation (Band 4) in Virginia. In addition, six attorneys were recognized individually for their excellent legal work and client service in their respective practices.

Victor Cardwell (Band 3), King Tower (Band 2), and Thomas Winn (Band 3) were recognized as leading lawyers in the Labor and Employment category. Victor was recognized for his work in a wide variety of labor and employment matters, with one reviewing stating he’s “an exceptional attorney.” King was noted for his “skillful handling of labor relations.” Tom was noted as a “go-to lawyer for a wide array of employers.”

In the category of Litigation: General Commercial, Chambers ranked James Jennings as a Senior Statesperson, noting “His practice draws on longstanding experience in trial proceedings.” Mark Loftis, Chair of Woods Rogers’ Litigation practice group, was named to Band 3 for his “broad civil litigation capabilities.

Michael Hastings was named in Band 1 for his excellent work in Bankruptcy/Restructuring. Chambers notes he is “much admired for his bankruptcy practice, which includes advising debtors, creditors and trustees in Chapter 11 proceedings and out-of-court restructurings.”
