Six Woods Rogers Attorneys Ranked by Chambers USA

Recognition

Woods Rogers was recognized by Chambers and Partners as a leader in Labor & Employment Law (Band 2) and General Commercial Litigation (Band 4) in Virginia. The Labor & Employment Law team is the only team ranked by Chambers in Virginia west of Richmond. In addition, six attorneys were recognized individually for their leadership and dedication in their respective practices.

Chambers and Partners is one of the most respected legal directories in the world. Individual lawyers are ranked in their practice area(s) based on their legal knowledge and experience, ability, effectiveness, and client-service. Law firm practice areas are ranked on the quality of their lawyers and the effectiveness and capability of the department as a whole.

In 2020, Chambers ranked James Jennings as a Senior Statesperson in Commercial Litigation, calling him “very experienced” and “someone the judges respect.” Mark Loftis, Chair of Woods Rogers’ Litigation practice group, was also named for his broad experience.

Michael Hastings was named in Band 1 for his work in Bankruptcy/Restructuring. The review called him “exceptional” and quoted one source as saying, “He is well regarded by local judges. He's very practical, personable and smart. He is also a good strategist.

Victor CardwellKing Tower, and Thomas Winn were recognized as leading lawyers in the Labor and Employment practice area. Both Victor and Tom were noted for their work in a wide variety of labor and employment matters. King was noted for his “skillful handling of labor relations” and for being “customer-focused.”
