Vandeventer Black's Moss and Hague Chosen as VADA's New Vice Chair of Professional Liability and Vice Chair of Appellate Advocacy
Vandeventer Black's Ashley G. Moss and Tracy Taylor Hague were chosen to serve as the new Vice Chair of Professional Liability and Vice Chair of Appellate Advocacy for the Virginia Association of Defense Attorneys (VADA) for 2021-22. After serving in these positions for a year, they will then become the Chairs of those Sections for 2022-2023.
Ms. Moss is a partner with Vandeventer Black LLP and has a multifaceted practice, concentrated in medical malpractice defense, personal injury defense, professional licensing, and Professional Liability. She has also cultivated a unique depth of expertise representing A/E professionals and accountants before professional boards, advising clients with obtaining and maintaining professional licenses, and assisting businesses and professionals with regulatory compliance.
Ms. Hague is an Of Counsel for Vandeventer Black LLP and a trial attorney who focuses her practice on the defense of professionals and general liability matters. Her experience spans all aspects of litigation from beginning to end, including appeals, and case resolution through motions, mediation and trial. Ms. Hague has been a member of the VADA since 2002 and is actively involved in their Medical Malpractice, Professional Liability Section and Appellate Advocacy Sections. In addition, she is a frequent lecturer at VADA meetings and has presented continuing legal education courses at the VADA Spring Seminar, the New Associates' Bootcamp, and the Right Start Seminar.
The VADA is a voluntary bar association comprised of over 850 attorneys focused on the defense of civil actions throughout Virginia. According to VADA's website, the mission of the association "is to assist Virginia attorneys in the professional and ethical representation of their clients in civil litigation through education, communication, and fellowship."
