Victor Cardwell Named 2025 Corporate Citizen of the Year by the Roanoke NAACP

Victor Cardwell, Woods Rogers Principal and Chairman, was named as the 2025 Corporate Citizen of the Year by the Roanoke branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP). 

The Citizen of the Year awards are presented annually to individuals in the Roanoke area who demonstrate outstanding leadership or community contributions. Citizens of the Year are named in several categories including Arts, Business, Corporate, Education, Humanitarian, Media, Medicine, and Religion.  

The Roanoke NAACP’s mission is to ensure the political, educational, social, and economic quality of rights of all persons and to eliminate racial hatred and racial discrimination. This year marks the 25th year of the Citizen of the Year awards ceremony and the 73rd Life Membership Recognition Dinner. The event will be held on May 2 in Roanoke, VA.
