Woods Rogers Partners with The Launch Place To Leverage VSBFA Grant

Woods Rogers celebrates the selection of The Launch Place as a Technical Assistance Grant Program (TA) provider by The Virginia Small Business Financing Authority (VSBFA). The Launch Place, one of four finalists from the Commonwealth of Virginia, will receive up to $1,000,000 to offer key business advisory services to companies.

Woods Rogers has enjoyed a long partnership with The Launch Place and its portfolio of companies. Members of the Woods Rogers Emerging Growth Practice Group have provided legal services to The Launch Place in connection with its investment in businesses located in the Danville-Pittsylvania region, helping to grow Virginia’s economy. Principal Autumn Visser has served as a judge in the organization’s Big Launch Challenge and IdeaFest for a decade.

As a TA provider, TLP will take on the primary responsibility of offering legal, accounting, and financial advisory services to Socially and Economically Disadvantaged Individually owned (SEDI) businesses and Very Small Businesses (VSB) small business owners preparing for capital support from small business programs. TLP will also continue its important work of connecting companies directly with funding sources.
