Get To Know Adam
Adam's career in human resource management spans across multiple industries. Before working in the legal industry, Adam was the director of human resources at his alma mater of Southern Virginia University, where he taught courses on leadership and management. Prior to that, he was the corporate human resources director for Deepwell Energy Services, a national oilfield services company, where he was heavily involved with multiple large-scale mergers.
Adam is experienced in onboarding and offboarding, managing payroll and benefits, updating policies and procedures, carrying out workplace investigations, preparing employee handbooks, and leading professional development initiatives. Adam has worked as a Title IX Coordinator and a member of a Campus Threat Assessment team. He is SHRM-CP certified and speaks Spanish.
Adam is originally from Tupelo, MS. After high school, he lived in Mexico for two years as a missionary, where he learned Spanish. Adam now lives in Buena Vista, VA, with his wife and three children. He loves to hike and camp, and he claims the Triple Crown in the Roanoke area as one of his favorite backpacking trips. He loves audiobooks, NBA basketball, and watching movies with his family.
