Dan has more than 25 years of experience in representing businesses companies of all sizes from sole proprietorships to Fortune 500 companies in environmental matters. Specifically, he has assisted clients with compliance assistance, due diligence in acquisitions, representation before governmental entities or civil, administrative or criminal investigations relating to environmental regulations particularly in the areas of water and hazardous waste regulations.

Similarly, Dan has worked with employers of all sizes in navigating the ever-increasing myriad of employment laws and regulations. For more than two decades, he has assisted businesses with compliance assistance, EEOC investigations regarding discrimination and harassment, and subsequent litigations.

A Roanoke native, Dan returned to the area after earning his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina and receiving his law degree from William & Mary. He is active in the Roanoke community, serving on the Executive Board for Council of Community Services, as president of Roanoke Valley Swimming Inc., and as Chancellor for St. John's Episcopal Church.
