Get To Know Gil

Gil's practice focuses on general and transactional corporate matters, commercial real estate matters, and intellectual property matters. He draws on his unique educational background of international relations and conflict resolution to help clients navigate and solve complex legal challenges and keep deals moving forward.

Prior to joining Woods Rogers as a summer associate in 2022, Gil served as an intern for the Honorable Kea W. Riggs at the U.S. District Court for the District of New Mexico. During his time at the University of Richmond School of Law, Gil was a board member of the Richmond Law & Business Forum and a student attorney for the Intellectual Property and Transactional Law Clinic. Gil was one of two recipients of the Faculty Award for Excellence in Corporate and Securities Law, which is awarded to two members of the graduating class.

Gil grew up in Richmond, VA, and has spent time living in Washington, DC and abroad.

After graduating from VCU, Gil pursued a brief career as a professional soccer player. Gil continues to enjoy playing soccer by participating in the local adult soccer league (CVSA). You can often find him hobbling around the office on Mondays after intense Sunday league matches.

Otherwise, Gil enjoys reading historical non-fiction books about business and international relations, spending time with his lovely wife, and playing in the backyard with his Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Midge.
