Get To Know Heather
After graduating magna cum laude from the honors program at JMU, Heather began her career as a journalist in local television news. She spent several years at WDBJ7 and WSLS10 before life took her to Washington, D.C., where she worked as a copy editor for a variety of print and digital publications.
Once she completed her post-baccalaureate paralegal certificate, Heather worked as a legal assistant at Dickinson Wright and later joined Woods Rogers in 2021.
Heather grew up in Roanoke and is happy to call it home again. She is passionate about reading, volunteering, and strength training.
Outside of work, you can find Heather exploring hiking trails, kayaking Carvins Cove, and spending time with family and their lovable mutt Jackson Bean.
