Get To Know Trish

Trish is a senior civil litigation paralegal with more than 25 years of experience working in both state and federal courts. Trish assists attorneys in all areas of their practice, including tort actions, complex personal injury, professional liability, medical malpractice, long term care and contract law.

As a litigation specialist, Trish collaborates closely with the trial team and firm clients analyzing and developing strategies in all phases of the case from initial intake through discovery, trial, and appeal. She is involved with investigations, medical records review, preparing expert witnesses, legal and medical research, developing witness examinations, drafting pleadings and discovery responses, deposition prep to include mock depositions and preparing outlines with key exhibits, designing trial exhibits, and participating in jury selection and trial. She assists with technology and other visual presentations during remote and courtroom trials and depositions and is experienced in large document and complex litigation cases.

Because of her drive and dedication to her profession, Trish was recognized by Virginia Lawyers Weekly as an “Unsung Legal Hero” for 2022.

Trish graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a bachelor’s degree, majoring in Criminal Justice and Political Science with a minor in English.

Trish is married to Shawn and recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary! Together, they have two amazing children: Shawn Jr and Elizabeth.

Trish is an avid reader and HUGE sports fan. When she’s not reviewing large document productions, she enjoys settling down with a good book, or cheering on her favorite teams, the Michigan Wolverines (GO BLUE!) and all teams Philadelphia (Fly Eagles Fly and Fightin' Phillies).

Trish also believes in giving back and regularly supports and volunteers for area charities, including Chesterfield Gives Back (local non-profit organization that supports First Responders and their families), Christmas Mother Charities and the Highlands Massey Cancer Organization.
